Black dog brigade at the Cheverly Day Parade

"Celebrate Black Dogs!"
America's Underappreciated Canines

Join the Black Dog Brigade in the Cheverly Day Parade. Black shelter dogs are often the hardest to find homes for. We are marching today to show how beautiful these dogs are.

We'll be position 47 in the parade, meeting at 9 am in the 3100 block of Laurel.

Things to bring:

* Plastic bags in case dogs need to relieve themselves along the parade route.
* Bottle of water and a fold-up bowl.
* Pretty collars, bandanas, or "adopt me" vests if appropriate.
* A camera to record the day.
