As temps rise, help the family pet!

Reminder to all that as temps rise--and will feel like 110 degrees tomorrow--keep your critters inside where it's cool. Do not leave your dog in a hot car. Do not walk your dog on hot pavement.

Know the danger signs of heat stoke in dogs.

* Rapid panting
* Bright red tongue
* Red OR pale gums
* Thick, sticky saliva
* Depression
* Signs of weakness or dizziness
* Vomiting or diarrhea
